Since i got one in the pre-release, ive been dabbling in Photoshop making an 'Apophis Token' in case i ever used the trap. I'd like to see what everone thinks. Feel free to suggest and alterations/changes and if it gets popular, i'll release a watermark-free version for everyone to use. How's that sound?

yeh if u could make some goat tokens that would be awesome will save me the effort of makin it myself, plus since u do study graphics design im sure u'll do a better job than u'rs truly.

Ok peoples, my final version is up for people use if you wish. Fiendishdiaz, i've just looked at the FAQ's for 'Embodyment of Apophis' and you are right, Apophis does move to the monster zone one activated, so to comply with tournament rulings we probably can't use it in official tournaments. But i suppose it wouldn't hurt to use it in friendly duels.

And I've got a scapegoat token in the pipeline so expect to see them in the near future!!

yes deep you are right, apophis is still treated as a trap while its a monster. When i was working on the token i hadn't read the rulings on, only discovered how Apophis acts after i'd finished the token. It doesn't matter.

Yes the trap card is supposed to move into a monster zone, but I think that your token would be helpful to remember that it occupies BOTH a monster zone AND a M/T zone. It also helps in visualizing that it can be destroyed either as a monster or a continuous trap. The only other thing to remember is that if control switches, you have to give your opponent the token and the trap card (i think this is how it works - I know that it takes up a M/T zone on your opponent's side of the field, but does it continue to fill one of your own M/T zones whilst control is shifted to your opponent?)

Also, I am thoroughly excited at the thought of some decent-looking scapegoat tokens. If they look even half as good as that Apophis token, I'll be drooling.

hmmm shouldnt token monsters be yellow colour or no colour at all since usually the orange stands for effect mosnters. would be confusing for opponent whose usuing ceasefire.
