Ok so basically i want to put dvds from my own collection onto my ipod. When i put the disk into the drive, it reads it for a while then just ejects it

I've done this like 10 times and it doesnt seem to work. I'm thinking the problem is because i dont have much space left on my hard drive. I also have an external hard drive (320gb) if that makes a diff.

So plz help me =[[[

When it reads does it open up like a pop up window comes up 2 ask what action 2 do next???

if that does not come up then the disc cannot be read as it is read as corrupt.....assuming if it's a burnt disc......burn discs have a limted space life afta a while they become corrupt!!!

If is is a LEGITE disc then their my be some privacy code which is blocking u from doing it.....generally hard drive space has nothing 2 do 2 it....

if u've tried 2 put it onto the external hard drive n it doesn't work then 1 of the 2 likely options is occurring.....

I tried first with a burnt disk and it didnt work, so then i tried with a legit disk and the same problem. I put the disk in, it reads it for a little then ejects it, nothing pops up whatsoever.....so i dunno what to do =[[[

I've also tried with many diff ones, burnt and legit and the same problem...

Thanks for the help anyway....

Seems like a long time since I made my last post..
But anyway, try using Xillisoft Video Converter v.3.
It works for me smile.gif

I dont think a converter would solve the problem, as i can never actually get the disk to stay in for more than 5 seconds...so theres no chance to convert it anyway.

i rly need the help...thx guys

If CD's work fine & DVD's do not, then the answer is not a bad drive, I think, because then neither would work.
If you have tried converters & they do not work either...
Best off to take it to a PC Geek & get them to look at it & fix it up for you.
Sorry, but that's about the best you are gonna get for now. =(

Why not say it here? I feel certain that myself & other members who have tried to assist would also like to know why.

Exactly. That's what forums are for.
